New main water line through directionally-drilled sleeved line, new main shut off, and leak repairs

The front yard of this home was almost completely unaffected during this main water line replacement thanks to directional drilling! This customer in Duvall reported a leaking main water line and requested installation of a new main water line as they had already dealt with multiple leaks. To do the replacement with minimal collateral damage, we excavated holes at the water meter at the street and at the point where the main line enters the foundation and worked with Linescape to directionally drill and sleeve the roughly 70' line. (Sleeving the line provides additional protection for the water line by separating it from the soil.)
For the water line itself, we installed 1-1/4" PEX and fittings and included tracer wire for future locating purposes and insulated as needed. Once the line was complete, we backfilled and put the sod back as best as possible to help with regrowth.
In the crawlspace, we installed a new quarter-turn brass ball valve for a main water shut off and repaired a couple leaky spots in the copper water pipes.
